Fabulous idea this week of French-ness. I thought I might join in considering we now live in a French territory. Noumea is by no means Paris but it does feel like it in some ways, you just have to remember that Paris isn't full of palm trees!1-to kick off this week I made fab French salade nicoise for dinner.

Salad niocoise.. mmmm..
so is french the spoken language? if so just talk talk talk and talk, that's how I've learnt and ask lot's of questions.. My girlfriends never get tired of me asking them to stop and explain a word and out comes my little dictionary, that's all I have...good luck x
i wish i could speak french too - such a beautiful language!!
must be hard though especially getting that throaty accent!
