A change of plans....................
This afternoon I was to meet up with a girlfriend and have a coffee in the winter sun but she had to cancel. Why you ask? Well it seems everybody on this island is sick as everybody I cross paths with has either been ill, has kids home from school or is coming down with something. She has the last two problems occuring in her house. So what to do with myself this afternoon. I decided to go in to the only supermache in centre ville that sells Australian magazines and check out what they had this week. I bought an over priced Donna Hay magazine. I haven't had one for quite some time and I have been literally drooling over some of the pictures in there. I have already marked a few recipes to try over the weekend. My husband is back tonight after being away a couple of weeks and will be ready for a nice homecooked meal I hope.
Oh I also picked up my red thread and crochet cotton for my quilt project square. Decisions are being mad, progress can take place.
Bon weekend to all!

I love the Donna Hay magazine! It's so gorgeous. I've yet to make anything from mine. I'll look forward to hearing about which recipes you try and if you enjoyed them. :)
Oh everyone is ill or has been or on its way around here too!I had Elsa home and cross fingers no one else will get the germs!!It is funny when I read your blog I have the impression of some things are the mirror image of my life through the past years;)Hubby away, not in my home country...missing certain aspects of that home country...and of course caring for our lovely children while juggling all that;)I eneded up subscribing to a couple of magazine from France (at a really silly cost too ;)!)
Hi Angelique!
Thanks so much for stopping by my blog!
Have you tried anything in Donna Hay yet? She was on Martha Stewart here years ago and I made a pasta dish she did on the show and liked it very much.
Other than that, I've just been collecting her beautiful magazines and oohing and aahing over them.
Wishing you a lovely week!
