Pay it forward 2011...........

Finally..................

I have finally gotten around to finishing my PIF packages. My recipients have been waiting a bit longer than the time required. I am so very sorry for this girls but you will see your gifts soon. It is amazing how life goes by without me noticing and I loose all track of time and then a whole year has passed. Does this happen to anybody else or is it just me? Maybe Noumea is a bit like a Bermuda triangle and time just goes missing like airplanes. Anyway I have given you a peek of what is heading out and I will show all when they have arrived safe and sound at the other end.

My creative space........

The brain hasn't been in a very creative place this past week so there isn't anything started, half complete or about to be finished to show. What I do have is some fabric sitting in view waiting to be used in my 'Pay it forward' swap that is really overdue. I am hoping to get these surprises started and sent out next week otherwise I don't know when it will happen. I feel terrible that I haven't done it but I hope what my recipients receive will more than make up for my tardiness. By the way I still have one spot to fill so if you think you may want something from this fabric and haven't participated in this swap yet by all means let me know.

I received a parcel yesterday from Sabine who lives in Belgium. It was a very pretty package too. All reds and Christmas like. I signed up on her " pay it forward" post to receive something hand made from her. Now it is up to me to continue on and full fill my end of the deal. Now on my post for getting some recipients for my 'Pay it forward" I only got one sign up. I still have two places if anybody would like to fill them. I think everybody knows the rules but if not you can read them on my post. Please leave me a comment and you to could get a nice surprise in the mail in the next 365 days.

Pay it forward.....part 2

Sure nobody would like to join in this. I still have a couple of openings.....3 in fact!! If nobody gets back to me I am going to just keep going on about it every chance I get until somebody wants to play.

Pay it forward.....

The other day I was doing my usual surfing of the blogs and I was reading on cats and quilts that she had one more opening for a recipient of her craft in the "pay it forward" exchange that is going around so I jumped on. I have read about it on lots of other blogs over my time of browsing and think it is such a fabulous idea.

Now the rules are as follows-I will send a handmade gift to the first three people who leave a comment here requesting to join this PIF exchange. I don’t know what that gift will be yet and you may not receive it tomorrow or next week, but you will receive it within 365 days, that is my promise! The only thing you have to do in return is pay it forward by making the same promise on your blog.

And there you go I do solemnly swear I will do this for anybody who would like something made by me. I know I haven't had a great deal of crafty stuff up on this blog but that's not to say I don't do it.
